Gary Charles “Chucky” Cassidy of 1745 Harvell St; Asheboro passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral Service: 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Totally Committed Ministry, Shana Lane, Asheboro, Visitation: one hour prior to service at church. Eulogist: Pastor Rebecca Brewer.
Gary Charles “Chucky” Cassidy
The son of the late James Cassidy and Peggie Brower Cassidy was born January 31, 1961 in Randolph County.
He departed this life October 11, 2012 at Randolph Hospital.
“Chucky” was a member of the boxing team at Seagrove School and attended Southwest High School.
Always a comedian, he enjoyed making family and friends laugh and will lovingly be remembered for his favorite saying “got to be more careful.” A logger by trade, he loved the outdoors and nature.
One daughter, Brittany Cassidy; his father, James Cassidy; one brother Quedryth Cassidy and a nephew, Emanuel Siler preceded him in death. His memory will forever be cherished by: his mother, Peggie B. Cassidy of Asheboro; siblings, Mitchell Cassidy, Gratchel (Kendrick) Jones and Mark (Rochelle) Cassidy all of Asheboro, Ronald (Kaylois) Cassidy, of Greensboro and Leslie (Bruce) Smith of Seagrove; one uncle, Charles (Betty) Brower of Robbins; a special aunt, Evangelist Elizabeth Brady, Dorothy Smith also an aunt of Candor, NC; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
